UserManager and UserStore

Hi,
sorry if the question could be silly, but I`m a bit confused between UserManager and UserStore.

I see that the "default" use in Asp.net identity 2 is using the UserManager, in fact I used it using EntityFramework following all the tutorials before switching to Table Storage using this NugetPackage.
Following the documentation for the configuration for an MVC site, all works correctly.

But now I see with the new 1.5 version that I can also create an UserStore and have some other methods like FindAllByEmailAsync that I do not have using the UserManager.

What should I use? Should I create in the Controller a "UserStore" only if I need methods not included with "UserManager" or the last should be excluded at all?

I also noticed that after the last update, something like:

var usersList = UserManager.Users.ToList();

is incredibly slow, I have 42 records in the table and it needs 2 minutes to retrieve it all while before only some seconds.
Is there a better solution to retrieve all records in a table, or I need to change something?

Thank you
