Storing access key securely

Apr 24, 2015 at 4:27 AM
I'm trying to figure out how to securely store the azure storage access key, but since your using the "elcaminoIdentityConfiguration" element I can't set it from the azure ui config. If it was appsettings I see that I can set those. I'm storing the code in a github public repo so thats not an option.

I realize this may be a newbie question, but this is my first brush with azure. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Check out this solution to your issue work item 1639 .
This is by design so that you can come up with your own appSettings key names. Hopefully the example in the work item above gets you going. -Dave

Hi Dave, I've been trying to view the answer to this question posted in WI 1639 for the past couple of days and keep getting "The Team Foundation Server is currently unavailable. Cannot view work item at this time." Can you please repost here? Thanks!
